Singapore, 2nd December, 2019 – The Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) is pleased to announce the relaunch of the Fast Track mentoring programme for 2020, supported by PRWeek.

Freely available to PRCA members globally, Fast Track aims to inspire the next generation of PR leaders by connecting aspiring practitioners with experienced PR professionals.

The mentoring programme builds the expertise and confidence of mentees and offers experienced practitioners the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience with future communications leaders.

Fast Track is available to junior and senior practitioners working in agencies, in-house teams, or as freelance practitioners. The scheme is completely free of charge, and is exclusively available to PRCA members worldwide.

Francis Ingham MPRCA, Director General, PRCA, said: “The Fast Track mentoring programme has continued to go from strength to strength since its launch in 2015. We have expanded the programme into MENA and Southeast Asia this year, and will continue to push this further across the globe in 2020, ensuring that mentoring and mentee opportunities are provided to all PRCA Members regardless of background or physical location. Mentoring is an extremely effective and successful method of passing on expertise and knowledge, and supporting the future stars of the PR and comms industry.”

If you or a member of your team would like to be mentored, and are a PRCA member based in the UK, MENA, or Southeast Asia, please use the online application form to outline:

– Your biography and current working situation
– Your professional goals
– What you are aiming to gain from being mentored
– Which professional skills you would like to develop
– Which soft skills you would like to develop

If you would like to be a mentor please contact Itty Alimi using the online form, with your full biography.

Each structured mentoring placement will last for a period of six months, and will start with a face to face meeting between the mentor and mentee. It will then be followed by monthly meetings or calls. It is expected that each mentor/mentee pair will meet or talk six times over the six months.

When booking any PRCA face-to-face training courses, all mentees in Fast Track can get 10% off the course and a free webinar.
Every mentorship meeting is worth 15 points in the PRCA CPD Scheme to the mentee, with a maximum of 40 points in total that can be gained from being mentored.
