We’ll be putting PR and comms professionals through their paces with this live simulation.

Join us as we run a live and interactive crisis simulation, where you can get hand-on, practical experience of how to manage a crisis as it unfolds over digital and social media. Using Polpeo (www.polpeo.com), a crisis simulation platform, you will work in teams to manage the reputation of a brand going through a crisis, and learn tips and tricks to deal with trolls, angry members of the public, journalists and stakeholders.

During this fast-paced session, you will work in teams to calm the crisis. You can come up with a crisis strategy, create statements, post live to simulated online and social media channels, respond to emails and communicate customers, employees, journalists and influencers.

Polpeo simulates how a crisis might play out across social networks and microblogs, forums, blogs, email, and online media. A live team behind the scenes mimics how the public might respond to the crisis and to everything you do.  You’ll come away having experienced a realistic crisis, and armed with practical advice on how to handle a crisis should one of your clients be attacked. But best of all – it’s great fun to do! We’re sure you’ll enjoy it.

The crisis simulation is internet-based, so please bring a fully charged laptop or tablet with you, so that you can have a go on the simulator.
